What is dual mode?

The Agrippa holder and closer are now ‘dual mode’, which means they are ready to protect straight from the box, as well as utilising the ‘listen and learn’  technology.

All the Agrippa devices are now programmed to protect as soon as they are installed correctly onto a fire door and they disregard most loud sounds except fire alarms, including appliances such as vacuum cleaners and other loud noises.

Geofire still recommend that you teach your device to learn the sound of your fire alarm for better protection. By sounding the fire alarm while in ‘ready to learn’ mode, the devices learn the actual sound of the fire alarm so they will activate, closing the fire doors to fire and smoke upon hearing that specific sound.
